I'm a member on Facebook, and also play the world famous, and also largely hated games of Farm-ville and Cafe World.
It's odd, but whenever I hear people talk about this game, I only hear them say how lame it is and how only people with no life play it....
It's strange, because two hours later, I can see those very same people post an update or a request about their farm on my wall....very weird...
When I ask them, they always say, they were forced to play the game by their friends to help them lvl. up!! Sure, you did....So did the other 1 billion players who are playing the game....
But, I have to say, as a player of the game, I believe that if you put aside your inhibitions and your 'attitude' crap and just sit down to have some fun....That game will treat you!
While Cafe world tends to trouble your friends a little excessively for help,
In Farmville, you can manage a farm, with only say 5-6 of our friends playing the game. You can even get through the game's initial levels, on your own. And their are THOUSANDS of daily players in Facebook, roaming around, just looking for people to add to their friend list, just for the sake of the game....Add with caution though...You never know who it might be!
I think with coming up with Farmville, Zynga struck PURE gold!! Sure others have tried the same sort of social gaming...But Zynga, seems to have done it right!! And are reaping the rewards of a HUGE fan following now!
